Greetings from chief organizer

The aim of this symposium is to bring together leading scientists in the field of van der Waals layered materials and their heterostructures, covering exotic physics and chemistry in 2D material synthesis, carrier dynamics, valleytronics, topological insulators, 2D magnetism, spintronics, electronic/optoelectronic properties, energy storage, and the related topics.

We hope that this symposium will provide the opportunity to share recent scientific discoveries and developments, as well as stimulating discussions and new collaborations.

During the course of this Winter School, we will have about 23 invited lectures by group leaders.

Additional poster presentation of young researchers will give an overview of current advances in various research fields.
