SpeakerYoung-Min Kim

Young-Min Kim is a principal researcher at division of electron microscopic research of Korea Basic Science Institute. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 from KAIST, South Korea, and then worked as a postdoctoral fellow for two years and a one-year visiting scientist more until 2013 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA. His research has been focused onatomic-scale study of nanomaterials using (scanning) transmission electron microscopy combined with electron energy loss spectroscopy and published over 51scientific articles in the areas of functional nanomaterials and oxide heterostructures including 17 papers in prestigious journals. His recent scientific interest aims to obtain a fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships in complex oxide materials using aberration-corrected electron microscopyon the atomic scale. abstract
